Who We Are
We are a community wide organization seeking the welfare of our city by caring for those who are in need of medical assistance. Arubah clinic operates as an expression of Christ and seeks to connect the hurting to health. We recognize that every life has infinite value and worth and aim to make true health obtainable physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for those we serve.
Arubah Community Clinic was founded in 2010 by a small group of people in Collinsville and Owasso, OK who had a heart to provide quality medical care to those who otherwise have no access, due to the rising costs of health care. We are partnering with local businesses, individuals, churches and groups to bring compassionate care to our community.
Our Medical Director is Renae Bernard, MD. Dr. Bernard is a board certified and fellowship trained emergency department physician since 2009. She currently works in the emergency department at St Francis Health System. She teaches Residents, Physician Assistants and Paramedics when they rotate through the emergency department and also ultrasonography use in emergency medicine. She has volunteered at a variety of community resources since the age of 7, including Habitat for Humanity for a solid 1 year. Dr. Bernard and her daughter enjoy photography, sewing, baking, gardening, 4-wheeling and bowling. Dr. Bernard serves because she believes Arubah is an amazing faith based organization trying to help a community in need.
Our Founder is Hilary Nicholson. Hilary is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and owner Treasured Pediatrics in Collinsville. Hilary has been in health care for more than 20 years in a variety of roles ranging from education, flight nurse on a helicopter, to primary care in a private practice. She is a member at First Church and God’s visionary for Arubah. She believes that everyone is entitled to quality health care and that all healing is found through Jesus Christ as our Savior.
