Every year, Arubah Community Clinic looks forward to our Healthy Laughs, Healthy Lives event. Usually held in the fall, folks dedicated to improving the health and wellness of our community gather for a night of laughter and raising funds to further the mission of Arubah.We are looking forward to preserving the health of our community by hosting this year’s event completely virtually. Since our founding in 2010, our staff strives to provide quality medical care to those who otherwise have no access, due to the rising costs of health care. We are partnering with local businesses, individuals, churches and groups to bring compassionate care to our community through this fun and interactive event.
We wanted to take a moment to reflect on last year’s Health Laughs, Healthy Lives event’s success. Together as a community, we were able to raise over $103,000 during this event! We felt so blessed to be working in a community so deeply supported by those who live within it. It was because of your heart for the health and wellness of those less fortunate in our local community we are able to continue our excellent care today.
We are now in preparation for this year’s event and are hopeful for what God will do through your generosity. There are several ways you can get involved this year. We are currently looking for sponsors! We have several different sponsorship levels ensuring an option that’s right for you or your company. Your support makes a world of difference for hundreds of our neighbors who find themselves without insurance and access to healthcare! By sponsoring this year’s Healthy Laughs, Healthy Lives, you are ensuring that even more of your friends and neighbors have access to healthcare.
Of course we would love to have you also attend this fun event! They say that laughter is the best medicine, but for the thousands of un- and under-insured working Oklahomans finding access to basic healthcare needs is no laughing matter.
